Cyrus

Overview

Cyrus is a veteran Scout Sergeant of the Blood Ravens Tenth Company, renowned for his unorthodox stealth tactics and nearly two centuries of service with the Inquisitorial Deathwatch. Throughout the Aurelian Crusades, he proved instrumental in combating Tyranids, Orks, Eldar, and Chaos forces using infiltration and surgical strikes. In Dawn of War IV, Cyrus returns as a hero commander leading the Blood Ravens' surviving members on Kronus, where the Orks campaign opens with Gorgutz's devastating assault on the chapter's last battle barge.

Served with the Deathwatch for nearly two centuries, where his unorthodox tactics were fully embraced. Fought in all three Aurelian Crusades under Force Commander Aramus and Captain Diomedes. Notable victories include the Tyranid invasion on Victoria Primus and the destruction of Black Legion outposts on Aurelia. Captain Davian Thule once remarked: 'Cyrus is no fool. There is a reason he chooses to remain a Scout Sergeant. In a few centuries there will not be a Blood Raven left who hasn't been molded by his thinking.'

campaign role

In Dawn of War IV, Cyrus co-leads the Blood Ravens survivors alongside Chief Librarian Jonah Orion. The Orks campaign opens with Warboss Gorgutz assaulting the Blood Ravens' last battle barge, and Cyrus attempts to evacuate the surviving marines as Gorgutz crashes his Rok into Kronus to pursue them. He also appears in rival dialogues with Gorgutz during key boss encounters.
